Monitoring refers to clinical follow-ups during a fertility treatment cycle (timed intercourse, ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, IVF, Egg Freezing, frozen embryo transfer) to check the follicules and endometrium thickness on transvaginal ultrasound.
These clinic appointments generally start on days 2 or 3 of the period and continue at certain intervals as every 2 to 4 days depending on clinical results. The importance of these appointments is to adjust medications, to regulate the timing of the procedures and also to avoid any potential complications like ovarian hyperstimulation.
These clinic appointments can be done at home country at a local medical facility. When the local clinic send the results we give information about any updates of the medicines, their doses and about the timing of the next monitoring appointment.
